Welcome to the Women's Council Homepage!
Over the years, this Council has had both successes and challenges, and now in conjunction with the evolvement of the Chamber itself, we look forward bringing relevancy to women’s issues that face us today and into the future.
Whether you’re currently an active member on the Council, or one of the Women’s event committees, or perhaps have been involved in the past, or are simply curious and have ideas about the future direction, please join us for this gathering and light lunch (sponsored by Applebee’s – 4th Street) in the Chamber Boardroom.
Thank you. Laura Fage

About the Women's Council:
The Women’s Council of the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce provides opportunities for women in business to network, to support and learn from one another, and to recognize and honor women who have made a significant impact in the professional and business community of St. Petersburg and Pinellas County.
With a series of on-going events, the all-volunteer Women’s Council focuses on building relationships that contribute to business and community success. Women’s Council meetings are held quarterly at the St. Pete Chamber.
Our annual event organized by the Women’s Council is an early-spring gala lunch of several hundred attendees with a notable keynote businesswoman, and a program of awards recognizing local businesswomen and women in community service.
The Women’s Council also organizes several smaller series of forums engaging women to speak about various industry and women in leadership topics. The Women’s Council always welcomes new members to help with these community enhancing events.
The 2012 Women's Council is looking forward to an awesome 2012, with a number of inspiring and educational women's events planned, including the 2012 Women's Series first session scheduled for May 1, 2012, which will feature a panel of creative and executive women in visual arts and in leadership positions in visual arts, to be held at Raymond James. Also, mark your calendars for the inaugural Women's Council event: The 2012 Iconic Women of St. Petersburg - Celebrating Women with Vision Awards Luncheon (formerly the Women's Symposium), scheduled for March 28th at the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront with a VIP Reception the evening of March 27th. |
