Beginning with our Tuesday, May 14th meeting, the Women’s Leadership Council will be meeting for coffee from 9 am to 10-10:30 am. Our first morning meeting will feature a presentation by Paul Carder, a distinguished member of the Chamber’s Board of Governors who is spearheading a strategic plan this dynamic organization. I hope you will mark your calendar for this meeting and special presentation outlining both short and long term strategies for the Chamber.Additionally, we will review the successes of the Iconic Women of St. Petersburg event as well as the April program from the Inspire! Series committee. We will also discuss our plans to host a Women’s Leadership Summit this summer. Most importantly, we are seeking your input and involvement to make these programs and others a success for our Council and Chamber as a whole.  Please join us in the Chamber Boardroom on Tuesday, May 14th at 9 am for this stimulating meeting of the Women’s Leadership Council. The Women’s Leadership Council of the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce is open to any member of the Chamber and is comprised of influential and inspirational members of the community which collaborate to provide opportunities for women in business to network, to support and learn from one another, and to recognize and honor women who have made a significant impact in the professional and business community of St. Petersburg and Pinellas County.

Our annual signature event to benefit The Chamber and recognize community leaders is held each spring - Iconic Women of St. Petersburg – Celebrating Women with Vision - is organized by the Women’s Leadership Council and boasts hundreds of attendees during a gala luncheon with an inspirational awards program recognizing local businesswomen and women in community service. 

The Women’s Leadership Council also organizes several smaller series of forums with the INSPIRE! Women's Leadership Series, engaging women to speak about various industry and women in leadership topics.

With a series of on-going events and programs, the all-volunteer Women’s Leadership Council focuses on building relationships that contribute to business and community success and we  always welcomes new members to help with these community enhancing events.
