This evening, the St. Petersburg Museum of History hosted nearly 90 attendees interested in learning more about the upcoming general election candidates.

Presented by the Tampa Bay Times, Popcorn & Politics offers our members and the community a unique opportunity to engage in roundtable interviews with candidates running for Congressional District 13, County Commission District 3, State House District 69, and Representatives for Amendment 1 and Amendment 2.
This evening’s featured guests included:

Jennifer Webb, House District 69
Kathleen Peters, House District 69
Mike Mikurak, County Commission District 3
Charlie Justice, County Commission District 3
Charlie Crist, Congressional District 13
David Jolly, Congressional District 13
Frank Jackalone, Amendment 1
Dani Hall, Ph.D., Greg Gerdeman, Ph.D., Amendment 2

The Popcorn and Politics program is designed to allow attendees to have exclusive access to the candidates and representatives in an intimate setting. After 7 minutes of interactive conversation, the candidate moves to the next table to speak with a new group.

In addition to enjoying complimentary craft beer provided by 3 Daughters Brewing, attendees also enjoyed popcorn and a delicious Chief’s Creole Cafe spread.
