The Shine’s On Casa

CASA (Community Action Stops Abuse) has been providing lifesaving services to women, men, and children living with domestic violence since 1977.

CASA’s vision is a community without domestic violence so that home is a safe place. CASA takes a strong stance against domestic violence in St. Petersburg, Florida homes, schools, churches and the workplace.

CASA provides a safe refuge, crisis intervention, advocacy, prevention, professional training, outreach, and community education to end domestic violence and bring hope, independence and peace to families in southern Pinellas County. Since opening a new 100-bed domestic violence center in July 2015, CASA now houses three times as many survivors.

CASA Collections Thrift Shoppe opened in 1998, and has grown to be one of the organization’s most important funding sources. Stop in to shop vintage boutique items at thrift store prices; your purchase supports the services that CASA offers St. Petersburg families.

CASA staff members understand the courage it takes to disclose abuse, and they work with the community to build a network of support for survivors and their children. Join the community in saying “No More” to domestic violence.
