The Shine’s On The Iron Yard

Established in 2013, The Iron Yard is the largest immersive Code School in the country. With a need for developers in the Tampa Bay area and a desire to immerse students in the arts, culture, and tech hubs, St. Pete was  the ideal spot for The Iron Yard to open a campus.

The Iron Yard’s courses are designed to help students master technical skills at an accelerated pace, and teach the intangible elements of being a great programmer (collaborative coding, architecture, work flows, good communication, etc.). Class sizes are small to ensure that each student gets as much one-on-one mentorship time with the instructor as they need. The best instructors in the industry are hired to be full-time members of The Iron Yard’s team and all have teaching/mentorship experience. They are able to teach the real-world complexity of programming while providing live examples.

Toni Aliberti, Campus Director in Tampa Bay, is thrilled to announce that The Iron Yard is now accepting applications for their summer session. The next cohort will start on July 18th, with classes in Front End Engineering with Javascript and Back End Engineering with Ruby on Rails. Both are full-time, 12-week immersive courses. Diversity scholarships are available!
