For 22 years, Scarborough Bicycle Accident Law has helped local bicycle clubs and cycling enthusiasts in the St. Pete area who need legal assistance.
Managing Partner, Matt Scarborough, has exclusively practiced in the Personal Injury arena for over 30 years since being admitted to the Florida Bar in 1992. Matt’s cycling passion began in college when he purchased an aluminum Cannondale and did several biathalons.
In law school at the University of Miami, long road rides eventually led to mountain bike excursions and racing throughout the state. Matt has been an avid rider and racer for over 30 years and knows the value of suffering on a bike and how that translates to ones overall mental and physical health.
"We are a small firm that can provide personalized assistance and communication. The firm's members include experienced bicyclists who share its clients' passion for bicycling and strive to promote safety for all cyclists," Scarborough said.
The firm also helps bikers who live in Florida's surrounding areas navigate the legal system. As a smaller firm, Scarborough Accident Law proudly provides clients with personalized assistance and communication. Many members of the firm also happen to be experienced bicyclists who share its clients' passion for bicycling and strive to promote safety for all cyclists.
"St. Pete has a great bicycling community offering diverse trails including Ft. DeSoto and the Pinellas Trail. While we hope that no one in the community will need our help, we will be there for them if they do!"
Is there a special milestone, anniversary, or accomplishment you're celebrating?
We will be collecting donations of teddy bears or stuffed animals in support of World Day for the Prevention of Child Abuse. We're inviting all Chamber members and the entire St. Pete community to join us for a friendly 20-22 mile ride from the Safety Harbor Waterfront Park to the Scarborough Bicycle Accident Law office at Rocky Point.
Breakfast will be provided at our office where the teddy bears will be gathered and provided to law enforcement officers who offer them to children for comfort at the scene of incidents. Click here for more information.
MEET MATT SCARBOROUGH
Matt Scarborough is the managing partner of Bicycle Accident Law. Mr. Scarborough has exclusively practiced in the Personal Injury arena for over 30 years since being admitted to the Florida Bar in 1992. He is a graduate of Stetson University (B.B.A. Marketing, 1989) and the University Of Miami School Of Law (J.D. 1992). Mr. Scarborough is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
Mr. Scarborough is a member in good standing in the Middle District and Southern District Federal Courts and has argued cases in Florida State Appellate courts and in front of the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Scarborough tries cases throughout the State of Florida and is a graduate of the International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy.
