Get to Know Embracing Our Differences

Art has the unique ability to inspire, educate, and bring people together. Embracing Our Differences, is a nonprofit organization that harnesses the power of art and education to celebrate kindness and promote inclusion.
About Embracing Our Differences
Embracing Our Differences was born from a shared vision of fostering unity through art. Their journey began in partnership with the Florida Holocaust Museum by hosting the traveling exhibit, Coexistence, from Museum on the Seam in Jerusalem, Israel. The exhibition’s overwhelming reception inspired them to establish an annual outdoor exhibition in Sarasota’s Bayfront Park and now, annually in St. Petersburg's Poynter Park.
Expanding to St. Pete
The invitation from the St. Petersburg arts community to showcase their exhibit in Poynter Park marked a significant expansion for Embracing Our Differences. The city’s vibrant arts scene and welcoming spirit made it the perfect environment to foster meaningful dialogue on empathy and inclusion. The exhibit received outstanding feedback from visitors, solidifying the organization’s commitment to deepening its presence in the St. Pete community.
What Embracing Our Differences Offers
Embracing Our Differences is more than just an art exhibit—it’s a community movement. Through larger-than-life art installations and powerful educational outreach programs, they inspire individuals to celebrate different perspectives and embrace inclusion. The organization’s thought-provoking exhibits create safe spaces for conversations about acceptance, equity, and understanding, engaging people of all ages and backgrounds.
Growing Further
With a dedicated team of five employees, Embracing Our Differences is committed to making a lasting impact in the community. They look forward to growing their annual exhibit in St. Petersburg and continuing to collaborate with local schools, businesses, and community leaders to promote a more inclusive and compassionate world.
