Thinking Outside the 'Burg

2025 Charleston, SC | November 3-5

Join the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce for our annual leadership trip — Thinking Outside the ‘Burg — presented by Trenam Law and L5. This year, we’re heading to Charleston, SC, to learn from another vibrant coastal city while deepening the relationships that make St. Pete stronger.

Over three days, you’ll connect with civic, business, and nonprofit leaders through curated sessions, site visits, and immersive experiences. Together, we’ll explore innovative solutions to shared challenges — from rising sea levels, affordable housing, tourism, and transportation — and bring fresh inspiration back to our community.

Some highlights:

“If you really love St. Pete and want to make a difference, this is how you do it. This trip builds trust, sparks collaboration, and creates a community of leaders who return ready to strengthen our city.” - Chris Steinocher, President & CEO of the St. Pete Chamber.

To keep this a more intimate experience, spots are limited — so register early to secure your place.
