THE CHAMBER WEEKLY
OCTOBER 5 – OCTOBER 11
St. Pete is in Playoff Mode
Our teams are making a postseason run, fans are showing up, and St. Pete businesses are part of the excitement.
Chamber in the News The Impact of Postseason Baseball Goes Beyond the Ballpark
St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Chris Steinocher recently joined Tampa Bay 28 to talk about what a Rays postseason run can mean for St. Pete and our local economy.
The report estimates that a Rays playoff game could generate $4 million to $7 million in economic impact. That activity reaches beyond the ballpark as fans eat, drink, stay, shop and spend time throughout St. Pete.
Two Teams. Two Playoff Runs. One St. Pete.
Whether you're watching the Rays postseason run from a local watch spot or heading out to cheer on the Rowdies, Game Night St. Pete can help you make the game just one part of your St. Pete experience.
Find local places to eat, drink, play, shop and stay before and after the game, and help keep the playoff excitement going throughout St. Pete by supporting businesses in our community.
The Rays Are Heading to New York
The Rays took Game 2 from the Yankees, 5–2, and head to New York with a 2–0 lead in the best-of-five series.
The Rowdies Are Playoff Bound
The Tampa Bay Rowdies begin their playoff run on Friday, October 30, with group seating and premium options available now.
Cheer on our teams. Support St. Pete.
Whether you're headed to the game or watching from around town, make a day of it and support the restaurants, bars, shops, attractions and businesses that make St. Pete game days special.
