Update: (It is now Online)

URGENT for residents and business owners: Northeast Sewer Treatment Facility is Offline Due to Impacts from Hurricane Helene Storm Surge. Sewer Services Impacted for Homes & Businesses

To protect the Northeast Sewer Treatment Plant located at 1160 62nd Avenue NE, the City of St. Petersburg made the difficult decision to turn the power off.  This means that residents and businesses located north of 30th Avenue N and east of I-275/Haines Road should not drain water, take showers, do laundry, or flush toilets. Draining water will cause sewage to back up into homes/businesses.

All business owners and residents are strongly urged to do everything possible to conserve water. Conserving water is key to restoring systems as soon as possible. See map below for affected areas.

FloridaCommerce has activated Business Damage Assessment Survey to measure impact of damage caused by Hurricane Helene
